Best Hotels, a Spanish hotel chain with establishments in Spain, Andorra and the Dominican Republic, is selecting a RESTAURANT SECTOR MANAGER for its Best Roquetas Hotel, located in Roquetas de Mar (Almería)
• At least 4 years' experience as a waiter/waitress and at least 1 year's experience as a sector manager.
• Problem-solving ability and good communication skills.
• Good manager and team motivator.
• Experience in mise en place control and dining room service control.
• Office package and other technological tools in the sector (PDA or digital commander).
• Be in possession of a food handler's card.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Collaborate with the 1st Maitre and 2nd Maitre in achieving the department's service quality and financial results objectives.
• Responsible for the mise en place in the dining room.
• Ability to coordinate the room team.
• Collaborate in the training of waiters/waitresses and other dining room staff.
• Review compliance with hygiene and health regulations.
• Check the uniformity of the waiters.
• Serve and deal directly with the client and advise at all times according to need and quality.
• Manage the entry (reception) and exit (collection) of clients.
• Coordinate with the kitchen the assembly and replenishment of the buffet, attention to special dietary needs and allergens.
• Solve problems and make decisions following established procedures.
• Inventory and order management.
