What We Look For In You:
• Education and Experience: Previous experience in hotel maintenance or similar positions. Technical training in electricity, plumbing, HVAC, or related fields is a plus.
• Management Skills: Ability to lead teams, organize preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, and optimize resources.
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, leadership and teamwork skills.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with safety regulations, air conditioning equipment, electricity, plumbing, automation systems, and knowledge of pool control.
• Organization and Problem Resolution: Ability to prioritize tasks, respond quickly to unforeseen events, and ensure optimal facility operation.
• Flexibility: Availability to adapt to variable schedules according to the hotel's operational needs.
• Commitment to Quality: Detail-oriented and focused on continuous improvement of facilities and services.
• Autonomy and Responsibility: Ability to work independently and make sound decisions overnight.
What Will You Do in This Role?
• Maintenance Supervision: Coordinate and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities in the hotel.
• Team Management: Direct and motivate the maintenance team, ensuring their training and efficiency in their tasks.
• Cost and Budget Control: Manage resources efficiently, optimizing costs without compromising service quality.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations in all maintenance operations.
• Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure the proper functioning of the facilities.
• Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Implement new strategies and technologies to optimize maintenance processes.
