Best Hotels, a Spanish hotel chain with establishments in Spain, Andorra and the Dominican Republic, is selecting a SECTOR MANAGER for its Best Semiramis Hotel in Tenerife North
FUNCTIONS:
The selected person will be responsible for, among other tasks, organizing, developing and controlling all activities that result from the provision of food and/or beverage services in the sector to which he/she is assigned. Duties: Supervising and intervening in the provision of food and/or beverage services (restaurants, bars, etc.).
· Planning time and resources: preparing shifts, stock control.
· Organize and assign tables to the waiters who depend on him.
· Correct the actions of your collaborators, facilitating the solution of problems.
· Monitor the hygiene and presentation of your staff, as well as the cleanliness of your area.
· Control the "mise en place".
· Take the "commands".
· Inform the maître d' of any deficiencies you observe in the quality and presentation of meals.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum studies · Higher Vocational Training Cycle - Hospitality and Tourism.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
· At least 1 year
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
We are looking for a responsible and organized person, with the desire and enthusiasm to work and develop a solid career, with the following requirements:
· Training: Intermediate or Higher Vocational Training
· Experience: minimum of 1 year as a waiter, desirable in a similar position.
· Languages: Spanish, high level of English, third language desirable (French or German).
· Knowledge of the following areas will be valued: hospitality.
