What We Look For In You:
• Experience and Knowledge: Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position in high-volume hotels or restaurants.
• Training in Pastry and Confectionery: Specific studies in pastry making or equivalent training.
• Creativity and Precision: Passion for baking, attention to detail, and creativity in dessert presentation.
• Organization and Work Under Pressure: Ability to manage time, resources and maintain quality under high demand.
• Knowledge of Health Regulations: Compliance with hygiene and food safety standards.
• Flexible Hours: Availability to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays.
What Will You Do in This Role?
• Dessert and Pastry Preparation: Prepare a wide variety of desserts, cakes, and pastry products.
• Supervision and Coordination: Organize and coordinate the production of the pastry section.
• Guarantee Quality: Maintain high quality standards in flavor, texture, and presentation of products.
• Stock Management: Inventory control, supply and waste minimization.
• Innovation and Development: Collaborate in the creation of new recipes and gastronomic proposals.
• Supervision of Health Regulations: Ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety standards.
• Teamwork: Coordinate with the rest of the kitchen departments and support different sections when necessary.
